Pastor Milan Norgauer was born and raised in California. Though not raised in a Christian home, he came to know Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior when he was in high school. While a student at UCLA, he met his future wife Heather at a campus Bible study. They were married after college and now have three wonderful children: Noah (14), Elijah (12) and Eliana (7). After completing his degree in history at UCLA, Milan spent a few years teaching Bible and history at a middle school in southern California. He then attended Talbot Seminary at Biola University, graduating with a Master of Divinity degree in 1997. Having discovered the riches of Reformed theology while in seminary, the Norgauers moved to Grand Rapids, Michigan where Milan enrolled in a Ph.D. program in Reformation History and Theology at Calvin Seminary. While in Grand Rapids, primarily through the influence of his pastor, Milan began to sense the call to pastoral ministry. He was ordained in 2003 by the Rocky Mountain Presbytery of the PCA and accepted his first pastoral call at the PCA church in Castle Rock, Colorado. In 2009, he accepted the call to pastor Northwoods Presbyterian Church in Cheyenne. As pastor, Milan’s primary duties are the preaching of the Word of God, the administration of the sacraments, moderating the church session, and shepherding and visitation of the members. Pastor Norgauer stands with the historic church of Jesus Christ, in affirming that the Bible is the Word of God, that it is authoritative for all faith and life, and the good news that Christ and Christ alone has the power to save us from our sins.
