The God to Whom I Belong

In the midst of trials Paul looks to “The God to Whom I Belong”

He found comfort because:

-He knew God was with him

-He truly belonged to God

-He was in the Lord’s service

-He trusted God in all circumstances

We can find the same peace in our own trials because of Emanuel – God with Us.

Q. What is your only comfort in life and in death?
A. That I am not my own, but belong—body and soul, in life and in death—to my faithful Savior, Jesus Christ.
